About Norton Lodge

Our team at THE NORTON LODGE CARE HOME delivers a full range of care services for older people, from permanent residential and dementia care, to short term respite care. Our team is dedicated to providing the best possible care, tailored to each individual's needs and preferences. Whether it's help with medication or assistance with eating, our staff members are expertly trained to deliver compassionate care in line with each person's care plan and medical needs.

We believe that providing excellent care means going above and beyond. That's why we offer a range of facilities designed to promote well-being and socialisation. Admissions

A referral can be made either by the local council (Cheshire), a family member or by yourself. To make a referral please contact Norton Lodge and speak to a member of the Management Team.

We will provide all enquiries to Norton Lodge with as much information as possible about our home. We encourage you to visit us to help you make a decision. 

Upon admission, our care team will work to make you as comfortable as possible in your new environment.

We work with our resident and their next of kin (if desired) to create a personalised care plan.

Senior Carer

Full Time and Part Time

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care and support to assist residents to maintain their independence. You will also be responsible for dispensing medication and using your management skills to ensure a high level of quality care is being delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Helping our residents with personal support and care.
  • Administration and monitoring of medications for residents.
  • Developing and reviewing care plans.
  • Support in training and supervision of new staff members in all aspects of their work
  • Assisting residents in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual). Provide attention when needed whilst ensuring residents retain their comfort and dignity.
  • Ensuring that all care planning processes are carried out effectively in order to promote the safety and wellbeing of residents.
